Under the Clerk/Auditor, position is responsible for organizing, interpreting, and reporting the County’s financial data in concert with the elected Clerk. Position requires application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements. Position coordinates complex advanced accounting, auditing, recording and payroll system and serves as the primary General Ledger administrator Countywide. Min. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; five years relevant experience; proficient in GAAP and GASB; Certified Public Accountant Certificate; CGFM preferred, though not required; driver’s license.
