DEPUTY COURT CLERK

Full-time position with the District Court. $17.61-$18.64/hour, plus exceptional benefits including: PERSI retirement, excellent medical/dental/vision insurance for employees and their dependents, and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave. Deputy Court Clerks independently perform a wide variety of duties to maintain court operations and facilitate records and information management requiring a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Position interacts with litigants, defendants, attorneys, representatives from other agencies and members of the public. Min. Qualifications: High school graduate/equivalent; Associate’s degree from an accredited college or technical school in a related field; and at least two years’ clerical working experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the work required. HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

The Nez Perce County Road Dept – Gifford Shop is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. $20.38-$21.17/hour, DOE, with an exceptional benefits package including PERSI retirement, excellent medical/dental/vision insurance and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave. Position operates heavy equipment during the performance of construction, maintenance and repair activities on County roads, bridges and structures. Min. Qualifications: High school graduate/GED, current Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or ability to obtain within six months of hire); and at least two years’ verifiable work experience operating heavy construction and maintenance equipment. Must reside within 30 minutes of the Gifford Road Shop. Drug testing upon hire and random testing while employed. Positions provide secure care to juvenile inmates in the Region II Juvenile Detention Center and requires basic knowledge of adolescent development and behavior. Min. Regular, part-time position scheduled 32 hours weekly. Under the general direction of the Senior Software Engineer, position is responsible for design, development, implementation, maintenance and training of County applications within the enterprise. Min. Extra Help Part-Time positions available with the NPC Region II Juvenile Detention Center. Positions are paid $14.00/hour with no benefits. Primary responsibilities are to operate the control room and provide technical support. Min. Qualifications: High school graduate/equivalent; at least 21 years of age; two years post high school work experience/educational equivalent; no felony or violent misdemeanor convictions; good physical condition; willingness to work non-traditional hours; and ability to communicate effectively. Successful candidates must also be able to pass a background check.
