NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Notice is hereby given that the Nez Perce County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the Brammer Building Conference Room, 1225 Idaho Street, Lewiston, Idaho concerning the following:

TA2020-1 – A text amendment to the Nez Perce County Land Development Code to modify language prohibiting select commercial entertainment facilities in the Lewiston Area of City Impact, with a recommendation of approval by the Nez Perce County Planning and Zoning Commission.

Public Access to Brammer Building

DATE: June 17, 2020 - The following offices located in the Nez Perce County Brammer Building, 1225 Idaho Street, Lewiston, Idaho will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am to Noon, effective June 22, 2020 through October 2, 2020:

Nez Perce County Social Services

Traffic for these offices is light after Noon on Fridays; therefore, the Board wanted to offer hours before 8:00 am and during the lunch hour for citizens to have access to these departments and conduct their business.

About Us

The Department of Planning and Building Services issues building permits, administers the county's land use and development ordinances, and reviews applications for conditional use permits, subdivisions, and zone changes.

The department provides assistance with various land use issues and ensures compliance with existing regulations. Other functions of this department include the enforcement of adopted building code regulations and providing assistance with community development projects.
