Election Day Registration

Idaho has Election Day Registration for residents who are not registered, have moved or have had a name change. Need to bring photo ID and a document showing your name and address.

EARLY VOTING CLOSES

Friday, May 17, 2019 is the last day for Nez Perce County residents who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day to vote early in-person for the May 21, 2019 City of Lewiston Special Revenue Bond Election.

The Auditor Recorder’s Office, Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St. will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for early voting.

ABSENTEE BALLOT DEADLINE

Absentee ballots for the May 21, 2019 City of Lewiston Special Bond Election must be received in the Auditor Recorder’s office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, May 21, 2019 in order to be counted.

Ballots may be returned by mail or hand delivered to the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s office at 1230 Main St., Lewiston.

Ballots received after 8:00 p.m. on May 21, 2019 will not be counted regardless of postmark date.

ELECTION EQUIPMENT TEST

A test to certify the accuracy of Nez Perce County election equipment is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14th. This test will be held at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main Street, in the Auditor Recorder’s office.

Counting equipment to be used in the City of Lewiston Special Revenue Bond Election will be tested. The general public and members of the media are urged to attend.

MAIL-OUT ABSENTEE BALLOTS DEADLINE

Friday, May 10, 2019, is the last day applications for mail-out absentee ballots may be received by the county clerk for the May 21, 2019 City of Lewiston Special Bond Election.

All applications must be received by the Auditor’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m.

Voters who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day can vote early through Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Auditor Recorder’s Office, Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston.

PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSING
FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 2019

Friday, April 26, 2019 is the last day for voters to pre-register at the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s Office for the May 21, 2019 City of Lewiston Special Revenue Bond Election.

The Auditor Recorder’s Office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

A voter who is already registered but has had a name or address change must re-register.

Registration is available at the polls on Election Day for residents unable to register before the April 26, 2019 deadline.

EARLY VOTING

In-person early voting is available at the Auditor Recorder’s Office, Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main Street for the May 21, 2019 City of Lewiston Special Revenue Bond Election.

In-person early voting is available through Friday, May 17, 2019.

Ballots can also be mailed to registered voters. A written request stating the voter’s name, address as listed on registration, mailing address and voter’s signature is required. Written requests for mail-out ballots must be received by the Auditor Recorder’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019.
