Road Closure Notification

Nez Perce County will be closing the R-330 Road also known as Cottonwood Creek Road at the George Creek Crossing near George Grade, to all traffic from November 3, 2025 through December 16, 2025. Work crews will be replacing the George Creek culvert crossing with a new open bottom structure, which will allow for fish passage up this portion of George Creek. Funding for this project has been secured through grants awarded to Nez Perce County from Federal sources. This work requires removal of the entire roadway at this location, travelers will need to find alternative routes and plan for extended travel time.
