The program is administered by the Idaho Industrial Commission. There are various rules that govern the distribution of funds, including limitations on a victim's ability to receive compensation.

  • What expenses are not covered?
  • How do I file a claim for benefits?

  • What is restitution?
  • How do I request restitution?
  • What happens after an application is filed?
  • Does the offender have to be convicted for the victim to be eligible for compensation?
  • If the victim has an insurance policy, will the program still cover the victim's expense?

If you have any additional questions about the crime victim's compensation fund, please contact the Industrial Commission's Crime Victim fund by filling out the form on their web site or call a Victim/Witness Coordinator at the prosecutor's office -- (208) 799-3073.
