Early Voting Closes

General Election- November 3, 2020

Friday, October 30, 2020 is the last day for Nez Perce County residents who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day to vote in-person for the November 3, 2020 General Election.

The Brammer Building, 1225 Idaho St., will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for early voting.  Voters will need to use the north entrance into the building.

Absentee Ballot Deadline

General Election- November 3, 2020

Absentee ballots for the November 3, 2020 General Election must be received in the Auditor Recorder’s office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 3rd in order to be counted. 

Ballots may be returned by mail, hand delivered to the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s office, or put in the Election Drop box located at the south side entrance to the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston. 

Ballots received after 8:00 p.m. November 3, 2020 will not be counted regardless of postmark date.

Deadline for Applications for Mail-Out Absentee Ballots

General Election

Friday, October 23, 2020, is the last day applications for mail-out absentee ballots may be received by the county clerk for the November 3, 2020 General Election.

All applications must be received by the Auditor Recorder’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m.

Voters who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day can vote in-person through Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Brammer Building, 1225 Idaho St, Lewiston.  Enter through the north side.

Rimrock-23 Precinct Mail-Ballot Information

General Election

Ballots for the General Election were mailed to all eligible voters in the Rimrock-23 Mail-Ballot Precinct October 13, 2020. If you have not received a ballot and you are registered and eligible to vote, please contact the Nez Perce County Elections Department immediately. 

The last day to return your ballot is Tuesday, November 3, 2020 by 8:00 p.m.

If you need to register to vote, or re-register due to a name or address change, Election Day Registration and voting will be available at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, on November 3, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Notice of General Election

  Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 34-602, Idaho code, that an election for electing candidates for Federal, State and County Offices, Port Commissioners, and Supervisors of Nez Perce Soil Conservation District will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. The polls will be open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. of said day at the polling places designated by the Board of Nez Perce County Commissioners in each of the following precincts.

Early voting for this election is available at the Brammer Building, 1225 Idaho St, Lewiston, Idaho.

Notice is further given that in accordance with the Help America Vote Act of 2002, each of the polling places is accessible to individuals with disabilities.

EARLY VOTING

NOVEMBER 3, 2020

Early voting is available at the Brammer Building, 1225 Idaho Street, Lewiston, for the November 3, 2020 General Election.  Please use the north entrance to the building.

Early voting is available through Friday, October 30, 2020. 

Ballots can also be mailed to registered voters.  A written request stating the voter’s name, address as listed on registration, mailing address and voter’s signature is required.  Written requests for mail-out ballots must be received by the Auditor Recorder’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020.

General Election

Friday, October 9, 2020 is the last day for voters to pre-register at the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s Office for the November 3, 2020 general election.

The Auditor Recorder’s Office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

A voter who is already registered but has had a name or address change must re-register.

Registration is available at the polls on Election Day for residents unable to register before the October 9, 2020 deadline.

Important Dates

October 1st -October 30th:   Early Voting until 5:00 p.m., Mon-Fri, for the General Election (November 3) at the Brammer Building.

October 9:  Last day to pre-register to vote with the County Clerk until 5:00 p.m. for the General Election (November 3).

October 23:  Deadline for Absentee Application.  Completed applications need to be received by the County Clerk not later than 5:00 p.m. for the General Election (November 3).

October 30:  Last day for Early Voting until 5:00 p.m. for the General Election (November 3) at the Brammer Building.

November 3:  General Election — 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

November 3:  Deadline for Absentee Ballots. Completed absentee ballots need to be received at the Nez Perce County Courthouse by 8:00 p.m. for the General Election (November 3).
