NEZ PERCE COUNTY FAIR
Full-time position with Nez Perce County Fair located in Lewiston, ID. Salary offered this exempt position is $45,000–$54,000, DOE/DOQ, plus a comprehensive benefits package including: PERSI retirement, excellent medical insurance, generous vacation/sick/holiday leave.
The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Nez Perce County Fairgrounds and its facilities as well as overseeing all aspects of the annual Nez Perce County Fair, creation and overseeing of off-season, income-producing events, and exploration of coordination and utilization of Fairgrounds facilities and negotiation of contracts with individuals or groups wanting to use the Fairgrounds. The General Manager works under the general supervision of the Fair Board and position supervises Fairgrounds staff.
Min. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or related field preferred, though not required; no less than three years related work experience managing large events and facilities, supervising employees and volunteers, and administering a complex budget. Preferential work experience in Fair operations,event coordination/promotion and facility marketing; 4-H and/or agricultural background is desirable.
