NEZ PERCE COUNTY

ATTENTION LAND DEVELOPERS

House Bill No. 242, which amends Idaho Code 63-602W, has been approved and is expected to be signed by Governor Otter during the week of April 1, 2013. The amendment provides for a determination of the amount of exemption relating to

“‘site improvements that are associated with land, such as roads and utilities, on real property held by the land developer…..for sale or consumption in the ordinary course of the land developer’s business until other improvements, such as buildings or structural components of buildings, are begun”.

A “Site Improvements Associated with Land” Exemption Application is required to be filed with the Board of County Commissioners by April 15th for any qualifying properties. Previous applications made in 2012 must be updated by completing a new application form to the Board of County Commissioners.
