The Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s Office takes pride in providing services for victims, citizens and law enforcement officers. Our mission statement is "Do the right thing, at the the right time, in the right way". We have an experienced and professional staff of Deputy Prosecutors and office support. We are aggressive, fair and thorough in pursuing accountability for offenders. We are progressive and innovative in our approach toward special victims and the needs of those who have been injured.

We are actively involved in rehabilitating drug users through our participation in the Second Judicial District Drug Court, but we seek meaningful sentences for serious drug traffickers. Drug Court offers users the tools to break the cycle of crime and impoverishment. It offers users the opportunity to get a job and to make a better, crime-free life for themselves.

Our approach to Domestic Violence is aimed at improving the quality of the lives of our community’s children and their families by terminating the cycle of violence and turmoil that many families suffer.

We work hard to make sure that each case is given special attention, whether it is a felony or a misdemeanor. Each case is staffed with experienced prosecutors and every attempt is made to prevent future harm.

Our office assigns specially trained prosecutors who specialize in dealing with sexual abuse and child victims.
