The Nez Perce County Adult Detention Center is located at 1150 Wall Street, Lewiston, Idaho. The Adult Detention Center can be reached by telephone at 208-799-3132. People coming into the facility will pass through a metal detector and can be searched for weapons and contraband.

Visiting Hours for Inmates 

• Picture identification is required for anyone visiting the Adult Detention Center or prisoners. Any juvenile coming to visit an inmate must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.   Keep conversation to a minimum while waiting for visitation.
• Turn off all cell phones.
• Prisoners have access to a telephone to make outgoing collect calls only or may purchase telephone calling cards. If you call the Adult Detention Center, you will not be able to converse with an inmate.
• No materials (i.e., books, clothing, food items, etc.) may be brought into the facility for prisoners.
• Only prisoners held longer than 72 hours may have money put on their accounts.  To put money on a prisoner's account, you must do it online from the link below or use the kiosk in the Sheriff's Office during business hours:
