FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2024
Friday, November 1, 2024, is the last day for Nez Perce County residents who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day to early vote for the November 5, 2024 General election.
The Brammer Building, 1225 Idaho St. will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for early voting.

ABSENTEE BALLOT RETURN DEADLINE
Absentee ballots for the November 5, 2024 General Election must be received in the Auditor Recorder’s office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 5, 2024 in order to be counted.
Ballots may be returned by mail, hand delivered to the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s office, or put in the Election Drop box located at the back of the Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston, ID, 83501.
Ballots received after 8:00 p.m. November 5, 2024 will not be counted regardless of postmark date.

EARLY VOTING - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26TH
Nez Perce County will have early voting for the November 5, 2024 General Election available Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brammer Building, located at 1225 Idaho Street, Lewiston, ID 83501.

RIMROCK-23 PRECINCT MAIL-BALLOT INFORMATION
Ballots for the General Election were mailed to all eligible voters in the Rimrock-23 Mail-Ballot Precinct October 15, 2024. If you have not received a ballot and you are registered and eligible to vote, please contact the Nez Perce County Elections Department immediately.
The last day to return your ballot is Tuesday, November 5, 2024 by 8:00 p.m.
If you need to register to vote, or re-register due to a name or address change, Election Day Registration and voting will be available at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston, on November 5, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Acceptable documentation is required to register.

MAIL-OUT ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST FORM DEADLINE
Friday, October 25, 2024, is the last day applications for mail-out absentee ballots may be received by the county clerk for the November 5, 2024 General election.
All applications must be received by the Auditor’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m.
Voters who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day can vote early through Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Brammer Building, 1225 Idaho St, Lewiston.

ELECTION EQUIPMENT TEST
A test to certify the accuracy of Nez Perce County election equipment is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30th. This test will be held at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main Street, in the Auditor Recorder’s office.
Counting equipment to be used in the General Election will be tested. The general public and members of the media are urged to attend.

EARLY VOTING
GENERAL ELECTION
NOVEMBER 5, 2024
Early voting has officially begun at the Brammer Building, located at 1225 Idaho Street, and will be available through Friday, November 1, 2024. Residents are able to skip the lines on Election Day by taking advantage of this early voting opportunity according to Patty Weeks, Nez Perce County Clerk. Weeks noted “We anticipate a large voter turnout this year, which could result in wait times on Election Day, November 5th. Voting early is a great way to ensure your voice is heard without the hassle of long lines.”
In addition to early voting, registered voters also have the option to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to them. This flexibility allows everyone to participate in the electoral process at their convenience.
