DEADLINE ON APPLICATIONS FOR
MAIL-OUT ABSENTEE BALLOTS

Friday, October 27th, is the last day applications for mail-out absentee ballots may be received by the county clerk for the November 7, 2017 Election. All applications must be received by the Auditor’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m.

Voters who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day can vote early through Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at the Auditor Recorder’s Office, Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston, ID.

BALLOTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR
NOVEMBER 7, 2017 ELECTION

Early voting for the following November 7, 2017 elections is available at the Auditor Recorder’s Office, Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main Street, Lewiston, through Friday, November 3, 2017.

City of Culdesac Election
City of Culdesac Special Bond Election
City of Lapwai Election
City of Lewiston Election
City of Lewiston Franchise Fee Question
City of Peck Election
Genesee Rural Fire Special Bond Election

Ballots can also be mailed to registered voters. A written request stating the voter’s name, address as listed on registration, mailing address and voter’s signature is required. Written requests for mail-out ballots must be received by the Auditor Recorder’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2017.

Ballots for the City of Peck Election were mailed to all eligible voters on October 16, 2017. If you have not received a ballot and you are registered and eligible to vote, please contact the Nez Perce County Elections Department immediately.

The last day to return your ballot is Tuesday, November 7, 2017 by 8:00 p.m.

If you need to register to vote, or re-register due to a name or address change, Election Day Registration and voting will be available at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston, on November 7, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

PRE-REGISTRATION
CLOSES FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2017
FOR ALL NOVEMBER 7, 2017 ELECTIONS

Friday, October 13, 2017 is the last day for voters to pre-register at the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s Office for the following November 7, 2017 elections:

City of Culdesac Election
City of Culdesac Special Bond Election
City of Lapwai Election
City of Lewiston Election
City of Lewiston Franchise Fee Question
City of Peck Election
Genesee Rural Fire Special Bond Election

The Auditor Recorder’s Office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Prospective voters for city elections must be at least 18 years old and have lived in Nez Perce County and within the city limits for 30 days prior to the election.

Prospective voters for the Genesee Rural Fire Special Bond Election must be at least 18 years old and have lived in Nez Perce County and within the boundaries of the district for 30 days prior to the election.

A voter who is already registered but has had a name or address change must re-register.

Registration is available at the polls on Election Day for residents unable to register before the October 13, 2017 deadline.
